Project: Enhancing Self-Directed Learning Opportunities Using Learning Analytics
Analyze data from one or more of the following Library Applications/Systems and create visualizations that highlight the most important findings related to our goal of supporting self-directed learning.

- Library Website and Mobile App
- Library E-Resources (Database and Journals)
- Library Room Booking System
- Library Support Request System
- Library Internal Geo-Location Tracking System (QUUPA)
Selected candidate(s) will receive a stipend directly from TC EdLab. Amount is subject to available funding.

- Researchers at EdLab at the Gottesman Libraries analyze data generated by multiple online systems, tools, and resources to enhance learning, teaching, and research.

Candidate requirements
- Skill sets:
- Experience working with data and familiar with Python and R
- Familiar with data mining and visualization packages (e.g., D3, Shiny, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Some software engineering experience
- Interest in advancing research in learning and education
- Student eligibility (as of Spring 2019): freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, master’s
- International students on F1 or J1 visa: eligible
