Phenotyping COVID-19 patients using NLP and clinical notes
Our lab is using clinical notes to phenotype COVID patient outcomes. The aim is to better understand the sequela of COVID-19 from clinical notes.

Support analysis and manuscript generation.
Learning opportunity
Analysis of electronic patient informations. Specifically, experience with ETL of EHR data and application of NLP and phenotyping methods.
One selected candidate may receive a stipend via the DSI Scholars program. Amount is subject to available funding.

Project Timeline
- Anticipated workload: 10hr/week 8 weeks
- Duration: We plan to conduct this project in 3 months. If the student could provide half time effort that would be great.
